Nicole Buie is the Vice President of Marketing & Sales Services for Cox Media, the advertising sales division of Cox Communications. She is responsible for developing and executing company-wide marketing strategies that support business growth and enhance brand equity. Her go-to-market plans, lead generation, tiered services and sales support models translate client needs into successful programs, consistently creating measurable new business value.
Prior to her current role, Nicole served as Vice President of Operations, responsible for the technical operations, campaign fulfillment and inventory management functions at Cox Media. Among some of her accolades, Nicole was influential in leading her company through all-encompassing Transformation. An 18 year veteran of the company, her career in media began in Orlando, Florida in research, customer service and sales support for Cox Radio’s six stations.
Nicole is an innovator, instrumental in leading teams through positive disruption to meet a fast-changing marketplace. She is a facilitator of open conversations and cultural awareness as key elements in successful change programs.
Her achievements are recognized throughout Cox and the cable industry. A three time recipient of Cox’s Vision Award, Nicole continually overcomes pressing business challenges with her teams. She was named to the 2010 Multichannel News “40 Under Forty” list and Atlanta Business Magazine’s “Top 25 to Watch” in 2008.
Nicole holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from The University of Florida and an MBA from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson’s College of Business. She lives in Atlanta with her husband, Brad and two young children. In addition to enjoying sports and music with her family, she is an avid runner, aspiring to finish her first triathlon.
