Hennesy leads the technology initiatives that span across the functions of the National
Engineering and Technical Operations (NETO) organization, and owns the
strategic roadmap for network, system and infrastructure. In addition, she
manages NETO’s intellectual property and patent portfolio, and serves on the
company’s Intellectual Property Council.
Theresa owns NETO’s
business continuity planning, and leads the transformation of NETO’s
methodologies and processes. She is also
accountable for NETO’s key performance indicators to identify strategic,
measurable contributions, analyzing the quality of products and platforms to
reflect and ultimately improve the actual customer experience. She connects
NETO with other technology organizations at Comcast to determine areas for
technical and process improvement, develop solutions, and implement

for bringing together stakeholders from the business, technology, field and
operations, working through controversies and getting everyone on the same page
to succeed together.
In addition, Theresa
and her Sourcing Management & Governance team drive the technical sourcing strategy;
managing strategic supplier relationships, contracts, and performance to ensure
that savings, process and flex capacity targets are achieved.
been in the telecommunications industry for over thirty years. Prior to joining
Comcast in 2011, she served as the Senior Vice President of Network Operations
for broadband telephone network Vonage, where she was responsible for all
facets of network operations, business infrastructure and application
production operations. Previously, Theresa was SVP of Technical Operations at
VeriSign, SVP of Global Internet Operations at Cable & Wireless USA and
held various leadership positions over 20 years at MCI. She is an active member
of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers, Women in Cable
Telecommunications and Women in Technology.
Theresa lives in the Philadelphia area with her husband and two sons.
She is originally from the Washington D.C. Area and studied at George Mason
University. Theresa is an avid supporter for cancer awareness, participates,
and sponsors a fund through the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. She is a US First robotics mentor and a
member of the Mid-Atlantic Robotics board.
