Anne Loescher 

Katz Networks

Anne Loescher is the Senior Director of Strategy & Planning for Creative Services at Katz Networks. In this role, she is responsible for project management and process improvement, as well as overseeing the promotion planning and scheduling team.

 

Before being promoted to her current position at the company, Anne served as Director of Standards & Practices. Anne joined Bounce prior to its debut in 2011 and took on additional responsibilities as Katz launched Grit and Escape in 2014, and Laff in 2015. The Katz networks are targeted, demo-specific brands leading a new generation of fast-growing broadcast networks created to serve cord-cutters, cord-nevers and subscription-video-on-demand (SVOD) subscribers. Bounce, seen in 82 percent of U.S. households, is the first and only African-American broadcast network and features a programming mix of original and off-network series, theatrical motion pictures, specials, live sports and more. Escape, currently in 85 percent of the U.S., reaches women 25-54 with a brand of programming anchored in stories of investigation and mystery. Grit, available in 87 percent of U.S. households, targets men 25-54 with a lineup of western and action movies and series. Laff, covering 85 percent of the U.S., is the nation’s first over-the-air network devoted to comedy around-the-clock, and presents contemporary off-network sitcoms and popular movies geared toward an audience of adults 18-49.

 

Previously, Anne held positions in Creative Services and Operations at Turner. She started her career at local affiliates WLFL and WRDC in Raleigh, NC.
 
Anne has been an active member of WICT for five years. She was first elected to the Southeast chapter board of directors in 2014 and currently serves as chapter President. She is a graduate of the Rising Leaders Program and a past recipient of the June Travis Fellowship.

Anne is a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a degree in Communication Studies. In her spare time, she volunteers with Hands On Atlanta and was recently selected for the Civic Leadership Program, an intensive yearlong program that trains and develops volunteer leaders while supporting the needs of nonprofit agencies in the metro area. Additionally, she enjoys writing for Sketchworks, a local comedy theater.
