As the Director of On- Air Talent for HSN, Kathy Marsicovetere is responsible for the development and strategic planning of the network's show hosts. Kathy works closely with programming and merchandising to ensure that hosts are properly positioned in order to maximize sales and create dynamic and engaging presentations that enhance the overall customer experience. Kathy also oversees all host training and casting for the live 24/7 interactive multichannel retailer, and is responsible for the network's fashion stylists, models, and hair and make-up teams. Her keen understanding of fashion, and experience in both the New York and Tokyo fashion industries, make Kathy's role a vital part of HSN's on-air look and brand image.
Kathy first joined HSN in 1993 as on air talent, making Kathy one of the rare television executives who understands the challenges that talent face both in front and behind the camera. She returned to the network in 2012, obtaining her current position in 2015.
HSN provides Kathy the opportunity to combine her passions of retail and television into an everyday experience. Also, through HSN Cares, the company's charitable initiative dedicated to empowering women and helping families in times of need, she is able to give back to the community with active involvement with the American Heart Association and volunteering with local charities.
Kathy lives near the beach in Florida with her husband and two children.
