Maribeth Kraus, MA is a former business executive, certified coach and the founder of MB Kraus Solutions, LLC, which she created after a successful career of more than 25 years as part of senior management teams at the Modern Language Association and the Society of Nuclear Medicine. She has extensive experience in creating and producing annual city-wide conventions which attracted over 8,000 attendees. Her career evolved beyond strategic convention planning to creating and building strong individuals and teams leading to successful and productive staff development and profitable results. She played a pro-active leadership role working with internal departments, resolving challenges, and expediting projects that resulted in positive and effective interaction within a diverse population.
She utilizes her coaching skills, broad experience along with the knowledge and mentoring skills she acquired throughout her management career to empower clients in developing strategies that enable them to reach their potential and achieve the life and career outcomes they desire. Maribeth holds a BA degree from Queens College, City University of New York, an MA in Social and Organizational Behavior from George Washington University, Washington, DC, and, professional certificates in Coaching and Career Planning and Development from New York University.
She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and of the ICF-Long Island chapter (formerly known as the Long Island Coaching Alliance) where she currently serves as President and previously served as Secretary. She strictly adheres to ICF's Code of Ethics and the ICF Core Competencies in her practice. The International Coach Federation is the Gold Standard in the coaching profession.
