Sarah Murphy currently serves as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Comcast's Mountain West Region. In this role she is responsible for sales and go-to-market execution across Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico and Utah, serving more than 1.8 million consumers. She leads a 700 person team, responsible for creating profitable consumer relationships in regional channels including: Xfinity stores, Indirect partners, MDU/SFU sales professionals, and Xfinity on Campus. Sarah joined Comcast in 2015 as the VP, Acquisition Marketing for the West Division where she was responsible for developing and executing our consumer go-to-market and media/sponsorship strategies for the Xfinity brand. A results-oriented and passionate people leader, Sarah successfully created plans to drive demand, consumer product penetration and optimize ARPU. She has more than 20 years of Entertainment, Education, Healthcare and Marketing experience.
Prior to Comcast, Sarah held VP Consumer Marketing roles at myStrength.com, Alta Colleges and she started her career at US WEST/Qwest, where she held multiple executive strategy, product, and marketing roles for 15 years (Wireless, New Product Development, Loyalty & Retention, Consumer & SMB Go-To-Market).
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising with an emphasis in marketing, and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. Sarah and her husband Kevin enjoy watching their four children Max, Maddy, Hannah, and Lauren compete and perform in the sports, music and theatre that they love. She also enjoys family time hiking 14ers, biking, skiing and traveling.
