Jen Neal serves as EVP, Marketing and Executive Producer of Live Events for E! Entertainment. As EVP, Marketing, Neal has elevated E!'s brand position as a global, multi-platform pop culture powerhouse, and continues to direct all marketing initiatives for the network, including advertising, media strategies, creative, brand alliances, and promotion across all platforms. Neal is a recognized leader and innovator in the industry.
Since joining E! in 2012, Neal has continued to drive the ongoing success of E!'s popular unscripted franchises with creative marketing campaigns for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Total Divas, WAGS, and Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry as well as the hit scripted series The Royals and The Arrangement. In 2016, Neal launched E!'s multi-platform "Be Pop Cultured" campaign for E! News, which reflected the brand's dominance as the news leader covering celebrity, movies, fashion, television, music and more. Neal has continued to innovate marketing and partnerships for Live from the Red Carpet, as well as play a key leadership role in E!'s expanded presence at NYFW as the exclusive multi-platform partner for the high profile live event.
In 2017, Neal's role expanded to include Executive Producer of Live Events for E!, while continuing to lead marketing for the network. As Executive Producer, Neal oversees E!'s live events strategy and programming initiatives, including signature franchise Live from the Red Carpet, tent pole live coverage of NYFW and Met Gala, and People's Choice Awards, which will begin airing on E! in 2018.
Prior to joining E!, Neal served as Chief Marketing Officer for BBDO North America, responsible for driving BBDO North America's evolution and growth, including the positioning and branding of the agency.
Neal was previously at Omnicom's PHD where she was responsible for running the New York office and all client relationships on the East Coast, including entertainment brands Discovery Networks, HBO, BBC and the Travel Channel. Under her leadership, the agency created and executed numerous award-winning campaigns, and received recognition as Mediaweek's "Media Plan of the Year" (Discovery Channel).
Neal has been recognized in prestigious industry publications including, Variety Marketing Impact Report 2017, Adweek's Class of 2015 Brand Genius Awards, Cable FAX Most Powerful Women in Business list 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, Multichannel News '40 Under 40' most innovative and influential, cable and telecommunications list, 2013 and Adweek 'First Mover', June 2012.
Her experience also includes serving as the Worldwide Group Account Director at the ArnellGroup and as Senior Director of Marketing Partnerships for the NBA/WNBA at the National Basketball Association.
Neal also serves on the Georgetown McDonough School of Business Advisory Board. She graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor's degree in marketing. Her leadership and competitive spirit was refined during her college days as captain of the Georgetown women's basketball team.
