Linda Moore 

ESPN Productions Inc.

Linda Moore is Sr. Director, Business Administration, Global X Games Events & Development, ESPN Productions Inc. In this position, she develops initiatives to maximize efficiency in all administrative functions including event budgets, staffing plans, new initiatives, guest hospitality, risk management, and internal relations.

Linda brings more than 20 years of experience in event planning and execution to ESPN. Prior to joining ESPN in 1996, she was the Program Manager for Materials Acquisition & Distribution for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. In previous positions, Linda developed and/or executed national cycling, golf, inline hockey, amateur and professional baseball, professional softball, and Olympic events. Linda also built teams to execute fundraising events generating millions of dollars for charitable organizations locally and nationally. She is a decision maker who gets the job done efficiently and economically by facilitating relationships with internal and external business partners. She is often known as the “fixer” as she takes the lead in resolving challenges, developing strategies, and implementing change.

Additionally, Linda spent 10 years in higher education administration. She is a former Assistant Athletic Director and Senior Women’s Administrator at St. Louis University. Linda also served as the head of the Missouri branch of the US Sports Academy where she created education programs for college and high school coaches, administrators, and athletic directors. Prior to that, she was a college admissions counselor and athletic recruiter for Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri and MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois.

Linda earned her doctorate from the University of Phoenix in June 2009. She holds a Master of Sport Management degree from the US Sports Academy, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Quincy University where she began the women’s soccer program and managed public relations initiatives, including authoring the annual soccer yearbook which won “Best in the Nation” honors from the College Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA) for the men’s soccer program.

Originally from Quincy, Illinois, Linda now lives in Unionville, Connecticut. She was elected to the Board of Trustees of the US Sports Academy in January 2009 where she also serves as Vice President of the Alumni Association. She is also active in college, community, and church activities in both Quincy and Unionville.
