Monique Ware is the Senior Director of Strategic Planning and Analysis for BET Digital, a division of BET Networks which is a VIACOM company. Ms. Ware is responsible for analyzing and growing BET’s digital business and working with key departments on executing their digital strategy.
Ms. Ware started her career at BET as Director of Partnership Marketing where she developed branded online executions for multi-million dollar clients. From there, she went on to launch BET Mobile where she created high profile artist based integrated marketing campaigns that promoted BET Mobile to the television viewing audience.
Prior to BET, Ms. Ware lived in Johannesburg, South Africa where she worked for a US private equity firm that raised $125M for investing in sub-Saharan Africa. In this capacity, Ms. Ware focused on evaluating entertainment & media transactions which led to the launch of TVAfrica, the continent’s first pan-African television network which was available in 11 countries.
Prior to graduate studies, Ms. Ware worked for Monitor Company, a strategy consulting firm in Cambridge, MA. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Grambling State University.
