Elizabeth Mulholland 

Rainbow Networks

As vice president of distribution for Rainbow Network Sales, the national distribution arm of Rainbow Media, Elizabeth Mulholland is responsible for developing strategic sales initiatives for the Company’s popular and award-winning entertainment brands, including AMC, IFC, Sundance Channel, WE tv, Wedding Central and IFC Entertainment.  In this role, she leads the Eastern division sales team, overseeing accounts for Cablevision, Cox, Insight, RCN and Verizon.  Ms. Mulholland was named to this post in 2008.

Earlier, Ms. Mulholland served as director of field sales for the Eastern division, and prior to that, manager of the Eastern region for AMC, IFC and WE tv.

During her tenure with Rainbow, Ms. Mulholland has been a key contributor to the distribution growth of each network – with AMC available in more than 95 million households, IFC with more than 50 million viewing subscribers, Sundance Channel with 39 million viewing subscribers and WE tv available in more than 77 million households.

Ms. Mulholland began her career working in finance.  She worked for the brokerage firm Cantor Fitzgerald for ten years where she started as an assistant broker.  Ms. Mulholland was later promoted to assistant vice president and then vice president.  She worked with traders from companies such as JP Morgan, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley.

Ms. Mulholland earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.  She is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM).
