Abigail Pfeiffer currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources-Operations for Charter Communications. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources (HR) and Training functions for Charter’s three operating divisions and customer operations, as well as the Company’s commercial business and advertising sales units. Among Abigail’s key areas of focus are implementing best practices and strategic HR initiatives across the enterprise to optimize employees’ effectiveness in continually improving the customer experience and developing consistency in HR policies and procedures across her client groups. She also supports organizational realignment initiatives and manages the HR aspects of all mergers and acquisitions. Abigail’s career with Charter began five years ago, when she was hired as the Division Vice President of HR for the former Midwest Division with responsibility for providing tactical support on all aspects of HR and Training, including implementation of new HR programs across the Division. Prior to that, she held senior HR leadership positions in other telecommunications organizations, including WideOpenWest, High Speed Access and Convergent Communications. Her early career experiences were in the insurance and mortgage industries. Abigail has 19 years experience in the HR discipline and, in addition to her Master’s degree in Management, she has attained the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification along with the Certified Compensation Professional certification. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, Colorado Human Resource Association, World at Work and Women in Cable Telecommunications. In her free time, Abigail enjoys reading, camping, spending quality time with her family, and volunteering at her church as well as the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. She lives in Denver with her husband and two daughters.
