Adaeze Okorie serves as Director, Digital Project Management for Scripps Networks working out of the Chevy Chase, MD office. In her current role, she manages product planning & delivery of site enhancements, Redesigns, Integrations, Cutting edge product technologies and day to day maintenance for travelchannel.com on digital properties and franchises.
Soon after joining Travel Channel in 2010, she managed the re-launch /redesign of travelchannel.com. She also managed multiple digital media integration and migration projects, working with the business areas on the adoption of new systems and processes that were crucial to Travel Channel’s transition, success and growth within the Scripps family following its acquisition.
Prior to joining Scripps, Adaeze worked as a management consultant supporting the re-launch & redesign of NEA.org; At Tiebridge she worked as Project Manager developing the Asset management practice with oversight on the Asset Management Program at DC Waste and Sewer (DCWASA). She also served as a Technology Consultant with Deloitte supporting the Architecture & Infrastructure Service line where she conducted technical and business analysis on multiple projects in the Telecommunications industry.
Adaeze holds an M. Eng in Electrical/Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nigeria.
Adaeze volunteers with the Project Management Institute (PMI) Baltimore Chapter as the Director for Newsletters. Passionate about music, Adaeze heads the choir at her local church and works with the team on volunteer events to serve the homeless.
She resides in Pasadena, Maryland with her husband and three sons.
