Adrienne D’Amato

​Adrienne D’Amato is Director, Public Relations for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.’s Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, a position she has held since 2007. D’Amato has created successful publicity campaigns for Cartoon Network’s pop-culture phenomenon Adventure Time, the Emmy-winning Regular Show and Steven Universe in addition to Adult Swim series Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job, Metalocalypse, Fat Guy Stuck in Internet, and Delocated.

 

Previously, D’Amato was Public Relations Director at SCI FI Channel (now Syfy,) where she spearheaded the premiere and sustaining publicity campaigns for the television series Ghost Hunters and Eureka, and the miniseries The Triangle among others. D’Amato also worked on campaigns and events for the blockbuster series Battlestar Gallactica.

 

Before coming to television, D’Amato served as Public Relations Director at music magazines Vibe and Spin, published by Vibe/Spin Ventures, a partnership between Robert Miller and Quincy Jones. In this capacity, she played a key role in generating media coverage for each of the titles as well as their related events and conferences.

 

D’Amato began her career as an account executive at the New York-based public relations firm Dera & Associates, Inc., where she managed a number of diverse, high profile  accounts including home improvement guru Bob Vila, National Geographic’s Explorer television specials and worked on the release of Sir Paul McCartney’s first ever classical music compilation.

D’Amato graduated from the State University of New York, College at Oswego with Bachelor of Arts in broadcasting and mass communication and received a Master of Arts in Corporate Communication from Baruch College (CUNY).

 

She currently resides in New York with her two children.
