Adrienne Torrisi grew up in sunny and oh so humid south FL, not the best place for a girl with naturally curly hair. Growing up as a latch key kid helped build the foundation for her love of Television. While attending the University of Central Florida, with a major in Radio Television, she did internships with MTV, FX and Nickelodeon. She finally got a paying job as a production assistant/ cue card holder for MTV’s Sandblast. This lead to production assistant work at Nick Studios Florida and MTV for the VMA’s and Spring Break Undercover. Finally she made the big move to the big apple and left the humidity behind her (well sort of) for three weeks of guaranteed work as a production assistant for Nickelodeon’s On-air Promotions Department… over 10 years later she is now a Supervising Producer for Nickelodeon Creative Advertising. She has worked on everything from helping to create and launch the TEENick packaging block to creating custom commercials with internal and external partners including Target, Mattel and Pirate’s Booty. She also produced and directed the half-hour special Top Ten Girls of Pop for Nickelodeon and has directed celebs from Adam Sandler to Will Smith. In addition to her day job she has self-published two Young Adult Novels.
