I serve as a Finance Manager at Viacom Media Networks and
have been here for over 2 years. I work
primarily with digital accounts, such as Netflix, Amazon and Hulu – creating
valuation models for all deals that we have with these MSOs. I also work with linear affiliates, such as
Dish and previously with Suddenlink, Time Warner and NCTC. Recently, I started working on consolidation
and looking at Affiliate Revenue on a total basis, providing reports to senior
management on a monthly basis. Prior to
this, I worked at the Fox News Channel for five years. I also touched upon Affiliate Revenue there
but worked mostly with expenses. My
departments ranged from Talent expenses and Weekend Programming to Cable
Distribution and Marketing. I earned my
undergraduate degree in Economics and Finance from Baruch College in NYC. During my career at Fox News, I went back to
Baruch full-time and obtained my MBA in Finance.
In my spare time, I love to read, run and watch movies. I also love sports, football and cricket
being my favorite. I live in New York
and have been here for over 12 years. I
was born in India, but lived in Holland for 4 years and have traveled
throughout Europe and parts of Australia.
