Alexandra Carter

Alex is the Senior Vice President of Reporting & Decision Support Services for Turner.  In her current role, she oversees a global team that provides financial reporting, consolidation and analysis support, financial systems governance and global user support, business project leadership, training, and financial planning. Alex and her team also serve as the primary liaison between the Turner accounting shared services organization and the global finance teams. Prior to this role, Alex was VP & Group Controller in the Accounting Center of Excellence at Turner, and also served as the Line of Business Controller for CNN Worldwide. 

 

Before joining Turner in 2011 Alex held a variety of accounting and finance roles with PepsiCo, most recently as Assistant Controller for the PepsiCo Financial Shared Services organization.  In this role, Alex managed the shared services Record to Report accounting team delivering financial accounting, reporting and compliance activities for the PepsiCo shared service organizations.  She was also responsible for providing leadership support for a variety of strategic initiatives and led the organizations’ financial planning and compliance activities.  Prior to PepsiCo, Alex worked for Deloitte and Touche in London.

 

Alex is a graduate of King’s College, London University, and a UK Chartered Accountant.  She lives in Marietta, Georgia with her husband, Joe, and twin daughters Emma and Chloe.
