Alexis Anderten has been in the telecommunications industry over 25 years. She started as an intern at Jones Intercable and has held various positions at AT&T Broadband, ICG Communications, and Time Warner Telecom. Currently, she is the Senior Director, Regulatory at Charter Communications, where she oversees the federal technical compliance for Charter’s cable systems nationwide.
In her role she collaborates with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization. She supports operations by monitoring new or proposed rules that affect the technical aspects of the outside plant and headend operations. In cooperation with the business leads, she develops and operationalizes compliance plans for rulemakings. She also tracks and reports on various technical regulatory compliance elements. In addition she develops internal and external regulatory partnerships to support and resolve compliance issues and obligations.
Alexis is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), and is a board member for the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame.
Alexis lives in Centennial, Colorado with her husband.
