Alexis Michalakis is currently Director, Partner Marketing within NBCUniversal’s Content Distribution team, overseeing partner marketing for the Entertainment & Lifestyle networks, including NBC, Bravo, USA, E!, Oxygen, SYFY and Universal Kids. Alexis and her team are responsible for creating 360° marketing campaigns for NBCUniversal’s distribution partners and garnering MVPD and dMVPD promotional support around major network priorities. Recent examples include Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Drive-In Premiere activations with DISH and AT&T, and The Real Housewives Game hub on Cox Contour platforms, which integrated franchise trivia, quotes and cast bios on set-top box.
Prior to joining NBCUniversal in 2016, Alexis held roles at Music Choice as Manager, Affiliate Marketing and at iN DEMAND Networks in multiple positions, including Manager, Promotion Acquisition and Distribution. She is also a proud WICT NY member for the past 9+ years, and has acted as a volunteer in a variety of roles for the chapter’s Programming and Marketing committees.
A native New Yorker, Alexis graduated Magnum Cum Laude from New York University with a B.A. in Cinema Studies at Tisch School of the Arts and a minor in Journalism and Mass Communications. In her free time, she loves to travel, is a self-professed sci-fi nerd, a prolific sourdough bread baker, and a huge movie buff/avid viewer of Turner Classic Movies.
