Ali is the Director of Multi-Platform Program Planning for Scripps Networks Interactive and has 14 years of experience with digital video. In her current role, she develops strategic programming plans for transactional partners across all SNI brands and is responsible for managing scheduling operations. Her involvement in the development of a content planning and delivery application resulted in her inclusion in the submission for a patent and she was the recipient of an SNI Inventor Award.
Before joining Scripps in 2004, Ali worked for five years in television production. This provided the foundation for the move into a position at SNI where she managed logistics for online video production. Now with experience ranging from creating and documenting workflows to brand representation and finding ways to increase revenue, her on-air and online knowledge is key in growing SNI’s video distribution business.
Ali graduated with honors and a BA in Psychology from the University of Tennessee. She is a member of both WICT and NAMIC and serves as a mentor within SNI. She currently resides in Knoxville, TN and is mom to a college-aged son, Cameron. She spends her spare time traveling, reading, practicing yoga and trying new restaurants.
