Alicia Daugherty

Alicia Daugherty is the founder and principal of Alicia Daugherty Coaching LLC, a leadership and executive coaching practice. Her passion is helping leaders at all levels improve their performance and fulfillment through deepening self-awareness, understanding impact and defining concrete actions. Alicia’s coaching approach is based in the Co-Active® coaching model and is informed by over 30 years as a leader and executive in the electric utility and cable telecommunications industries.

Alicia retired from Comcast Cable in 2020 as Vice President, Consumer Experience Transformation. In this role she was responsible for execution of enterprise-wide initiatives designed to transform the experience of Comcast’s customers and employees.

Before taking on her role in Transformation, Alicia served as Vice President of Project Management and Customer Experience for Comcast’s Beltway Region. Her team managed the launch of new products and services within the region, as well as leading business process improvement efforts geared toward improving the customer experience in the local markets. Her previous roles at Comcast include Vice President of Area Operations for Comcast’s Bay Shore Group, where she had primary responsibility for Cable operations in the Maryland Eastern Shore and Delmarva Peninsula; and Technical Operations lead for the Maryland/Delaware/Richmond Region, where she drove standardization in business processes and performance metrics.

Prior to joining Comcast, Alicia spent more than twenty years in the electric utility industry, primarily with PECO Energy Company. Her roles included Director of Operations where she was responsible for the engineering, construction and maintenance of the high-voltage transmission and substation system; Director of Project and Contractor Management, where she directed project management functions for all major construction, maintenance and business processes for the company; and Director of Large Account Services where she managed contracts and customer service for the company’s large commercial, industrial and governmental customers

Alicia holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University. She is a 2010 graduate of the Comcast Executive Leadership Forum and in 2013 completed the Comcast Women in Leadership Program at Wharton. In 2019 she completed the Cable Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School and in 2020 she completed the Co-Active Training Institute’s Coach Training program.

Alicia remains an active member of Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT). She served for several years as a mentor in the Philadelphia chapter’s Mentoring Partnership Program. In 2016 she became a Betsy Magness Leadership Institute Fellow. Alicia was recognized with the Connect Award from the WICT Baltimore/DC Chapter for her ability to bring people together to solve business issues and improve organizational culture.

Alicia is a member of the International Coach Federation, the Professional Coaches’ Alliance and the Institute of Coaching of McLean Hospital, the psychiatric teaching hospital for Harvard Medical School.

Alicia and her husband Jim are the parents of two grown children, Jay and Leah. They are award-winning homebrewers and reside in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
