Alicia Seffernik is the Senior Manager of IT for Suddenlink Communications in St Louis, Missouri. In her current role she oversees the corporate Enterprise Reporting Application and assorted other Data Services. Within this role Alicia plays a strategic part in ensuring that Suddenlink’s leaders have the information needed enabling them to make accurate decisions.
Alicia started in cable as a temporary employee for a single week’s placement in 1996. That single week turned into a full time role as the Data Coordinator for Bresnan Communications in Bay City, MI. Bresnan was purchased by Charter Communications in 1999. In 2001 Alicia took a position at the corporate office of Charter Communications in St Louis, MO as a Project Analyst. In this capacity Alicia provided Billing system support and successfully led over 25 billing system conversions from various billing systems to CSG in a 2 year period. In 2004 Alicia moved from Charter Communications to Suddenlink Communications (Formerly Cebridge Connections) as the Manager of IT within the Billing team.
As Suddenlink grew nearly quadrupled in size in 2006, Alicia was realigned from the Billing team to the Business Intelligence team to assist in establishing an enterprise wide reporting system that supports the business from all levels of business. In this capacity Alicia was able to provide a unique perspective to the Business Intelligence team as she had experienced the telecommunications industry from the field up to the corporate level. Since that time Alicia has moved into the leadership role of the team and oversees the Business Intelligence team for Suddenlink’s real time operational and custom application reporting.
Alicia is currently an active member in the Midwest Chapter of WICT, St Louis Gateway Chapter of Namic, St Louis Chapter of TDWI, ASUG, and BOUG.
In her spare time she devotes time to assisting the local high school’s Marine Corps Junior ROTC program in a multitude of ways from maintaining scoring databases, to chaperoning fieldtrips and drill competitions. Alicia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, singing, line dancing and playing with her grandson. She currently resides in Pacific MO with her Husband.
