Alina Montano is Vice President of Product Infrastructure and Operations for Time Warner Cable. In this role, she is responsible for identifying and implementing changes to the company’s infrastructure and operational processes for Time Warner Cable’s Business Class product portfolio. This portfolio includes small business and enterprise voice, video, data, and managed services, as well as select Carrier grade products. She also oversees the Business Class product operation and maintenance activities, including the implementation of pricing updates, marketing promotions, and product/billing standardization.
Ms. Montano was a major player in the launch of Time Warner Cable’s first commercial voice product, Business Class Phone. Following the successful launch of this critical SMB product to the company’s national footprint, she was instrumental in leading the team that developed and introduced other voice products for mid-market customers, as well as other new products such as Hosted Exchange, enterprise video, and Ethernet service.
Prior to joining Time Warner Cable in 2006, Ms. Montano held a variety of leadership positions in product development and sales operations at other telecom companies, both domestically and internationally, including Teligent Communications and MCI.
Ms. Montano is a member of Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT) and actively participates in formal mentorship programs with both WICT and Time Warner Cable.
Ms. Montano received a bachelor of science in engineering the Technical Institute of Cluj-Napoca, Romania and an MBA in engineering from George Mason University.
