Amy Atkins

Amy Atkins has been a leader in several cable and telecommunications industry disciplines during her career.  She is currently the Vice President of Training and Organizational Development at Suddenlink’s corporate headquarters in St. Louis, Mo. 

 

After years of Human Resources work in the banking industry, Amy began her cable career with Human Resources and Training leadership positions at Cox Communications.  Amy moved to the Operations side of the business in 2003, managing a very successful San Angelo, Texas, System for five years as its Director of Operations. 

 

She began work with Suddenlink when it acquired the San Angelo system.  During her tenure with Suddenlink, she has held leadership positions in Human Resources, Finance, Training, Field and Care Center Operations.  In her current role, Amy oversees all leadership curriculums as well as the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS).         

 

Amy has been very active in Suddenlink-served communities, holding board positions for the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Concho Valley, Western Arizona Humane Society and most recently as a board member of the New Mexico/Arizona chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), now known as the Southwest Chapter. 

                               

Originally from the North Woods of Wisconsin, Amy now resides in St. Louis, Mo., with her husband and two sons.
