Amy Israel currently serves as a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) within Comcast Business, where she leads end-to-end P&L management processes including budgeting, forecasting and reporting for a multibillion-dollar business unit. Additionally, she collaborates with internal stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization to help drive executive decisions on the company’s initiatives. Prior to her role in FP&A, Amy worked on the Corporate Technical Accounting team and managed the implementation of the revenue recognition standard ASC 606 for Cable Communications, NBCUniversal and Comcast Spectacor.
Previously, Amy gained progressive experience in various accounting-focused roles at Five Below and Deloitte. Throughout Amy’s tenure at Five Below, Amy led the monthly close process, the implementation of Oracle EBS/Hyperion as well as SEC reporting. At Deloitte, Amy worked in the Audit function serving Comcast Corporation as her primary client.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and is a registered Certified Public Accountant in the State of Pennsylvania.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys attending Philadelphia sporting events, exercising, traveling and exploring Philadelphia’s dining scene.
