Andrea Ching

Andrea Ching is senior vice president of marketing and promotions for CNN News Networks and Turner Digital Ad Sales.  As part of her leadership oversight, Ching fosters collaboration between both Turner’s linear and digital sales teams across all divisions to develop unique and effective sponsorship activation strategies for Turner’s extensive portfolio of brands which include CNN News Networks and digital destinations, TBS.com, TNTDrama.com, CartoonNetwork.com, NCAA.com/March Madness Live, and NBA.com among others.  Based in New York, she reports to Greg D’Alba, President, CNN News Networks and Turner Digital Ad Sales and Marketing.

Ching joined Turner in 2008 from Neo@Ogilvy, the digital media arm of the Ogilvy advertising agency, where she served as senior partner, managing director, and led a group of global, digitally-driven blue-chip accounts.  In her near twelve year tenure with Ogilvy, Ching held ascending positions by demonstrating digital leadership and developing breakthrough marketing programs for such clients as American Express, IBM, Kodak, Lenovo, Samsung, TD Ameritrade and Unilever. 

Recognized with numerous awards throughout her career, she was most recently named as a 2012 “Game Changer” by Sports Business Journal and 2012 Cablefax “Most Influential Minorities.”  Previous honors include a Media Magazine 2003 “Rising Media Star.” She is a member of several digital media industry associations including the Online Publishers’ Association (OPA) and the 212 Marketing Group.

Ching received a bachelor of arts degree, awarded magna cum laude, in English and American Literature from Brown University. She resides in New York City with her husband and two young children.
