Andrea Harry

Andrea Harry is HLN’s TV/Web Integration Manager. As a part of HLN’s team, Andrea helps oversee the network’s digital offerings and spearheads efforts to integrate HLN content on CNN.com and vice versa. She also works closely with the consumer promotions group to develop sweepstakes for HLN shows and with the ad sales group on sponsorship initiatives. Andrea represents HLN on CNN’s Diversity Council and is also a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications and the National Association of Black Journalists. Andrea began her career with CNN as a summer intern at CNN/Sports Illustrated in 1998. She returned to the network in 2000 as a Web/TV liaison between CNN/SI and CNNSI.com. In that role she helped to integrate interactive elements such as viewer ‘chats’ and e-mails into CNN/SI programming. In 2002, she moved to CNN.com where she worked in the TV/Web Integration group for five years. While there, she worked closely with CNN producers, ad sales and the promotions departments to help create online digital extensions for CNN, HLN and CNN International. She also helped to integrate CNN.com material into various shows and helped to coordinate blogs and content related to Hurricane Katrina, the 2004 Election coverage and more. From Oct. 2005 to Oct. 2006, she worked out of CNN’s London Bureau, where she continued working with the Atlanta-based TV/Web Integration group on TV show pages and helped coordinate ad-sponsored special reports and initiatives. Andrea received her B.A. in Radio and Television Arts from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
