Angela N. Camp is a manager of Content Distribution Marketing for Scripps Networks Interactive. In her current role, she leads projects and strategic network partnerships for Travel Channel and Great American Country with content distribution partners that support SNI network ratings, drive viewership and position SNI as a preferred business partner.
Angela began her career in the Cable Telecommunications industry with SNI in 2010 as a New Media Marketing Planner working to drive awareness and viewership of the SNI networks On Demand. She was successful at implementing best practices and developing project guidelines that resulted in improved levels of communication with SNI business partners, and contributed to the highest ratings of On Demand content in SNI history.
Prior to joining Scripps Networks Interactive Angela earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Indiana Wesleyan University while working full time to gain a broad range of business experience as an associate publisher of a privately held micro-local newspaper, and leading new business development for a privately held boutique consulting firm. After graduation she enjoyed a year of coordinating resources for a southeast non-profit’s senior leadership team and board of directors as they made allocation decisions for nearly $12 million of grant funding.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys traveling, and planning upcoming trips with her husband, friends, and two dogs. Her dream trip is a month long stay in the south of France during lavender harvest time. She and her husband Sean live in Knoxville, Tenn. and are currently renovating a home together. They will celebrate their 9 year anniversary in May 2014.
