Angela Santone

Angela Santone is Vice President, Corporate Human Resources for Turner Broadcasting System.  In this capacity, she is responsible for partnering with the key executives in her respective client groups to create and implement key business initiatives as well as planning and recommending human resources strategies to build individual and organizational capability.   She manages a team of HR professionals and together they support Finance and Accounting, Properties, Security, Legal, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Image Management, Human Resources, Research, and Media as well as the Employee Relations function for the company.  Angela is based in Atlanta and reports to Loretta Walker, Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer.

Angela has held various roles in the HR organization at Turner since joining in 2001.  She spent three years at the Entertainment campus where she partnered with Entertainment Finance and Accounting, Program Acquisitions and Finance, as well as Entertainment Research and Public Relations.  She then transferred to Corporate HR, which is when she assumed responsibility for Turner Corporate Resources, RET Media, Properties and Security, Research and Public Relations across the company as well as Turner Network Sales.  Before joining Turner, she was the Education/Documentation Manager & HR Generalist, for S2 Systems, Inc.

Angela received her undergraduate degree from Florida State University and her Masters in Counseling from the Troy State University.  She is a certified facilitator for the Benchmark 360 assessment by the Center for Creative Leadership and is a qualified facilitator for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).  She is a member of Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT), as well as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).  Additionally, she is an executive mentor for the Turner Women Today Circle Mentoring program and has also been a volunteer mentor in the WICT/Agnes Scott and Peer-to-Peer mentoring programs.   She is recent graduate of the Pathbuilders Achieva class and was recently appointed to the Emma Bowen Foundation Board.  She is an active member of the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta  Smyrna Friends group as well as a member of Hope’s Circle.
