Anne Swanson is an Associate Director of Asset Management at ESPN. She began her career in the industry in 2006 as a Client Service Representative working in the Detroit marketplace for ESPN. In this role she began her education of the media industry and was responsible for pre and post-sale efforts of Television, Digital and Magazine accounts. In 2007, she was afforded the opportunity to move on with ESPN and obtained a Television Sales Planner position in the Chicago market. In this position, Anne was responsible for creating and stewarding Television proposals for advertisers such as Allstate, Applebee’s, Best Buy, MillerCoors and Jim Beam.
After a three year stint in the Windy City, Anne was promoted to Manager of Asset Management at ESPN and migrated east to New York City. As a Manager, and now an Associate Director of the Asset Management group, Anne has been responsible for overseeing a team that manages television inventory and sponsorship assets across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU, ESPN Classic and ESPN/ABC Sports.
Anne is a 2006 graduate from Oakland University with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing. She has a passion for mentoring and developing future leaders. Over the past two years she has maintained a committee position with an internal ESPN mentoring program. This is her first year as a member of WICT.
