Ashley Matts serves as Vice President, Strategy and Insights in NBCUniversal’s Content Distribution Group. She leads multiplatform consumption analytics across NBCUniversal’s distributed platforms in support of the company’s sales priorities with MVPD and vMVPD partners.
In this role, Ashley analyzes consumption trends, consumer preferences and attitudes across NBCU’s distribution endpoints and provides strategic guidance on pricing, sales positioning and product development to drive revenue. In addition to providing consumer insights, Ashley also leads the management and development of a digital analytics tool for the broader NBCUniversal organization providing data standardization and analytic efficiency.
Prior to joining Content Distribution, Ashley was part of NBCUniversal’s Cable Entertainment Group where she led the programming and production greenlight and ROI process across five networks and two studios, developing new KPI’s and maximizing program investment. Prior to that she was responsible for the financial management and growth of the digital businesses at USA, Syfy and Bravo. Ashley began her career in cable at Viacom Media Networks in Corporate Finance.
Ashley received her Bachelor of Science in Finance from The University of Florida. She resides in Pelham, NY, with her husband, John, and their two children: Hudson (6) and Quinn (4).
