Originally from Marietta, Georgia, Avia is a graduate of The University of Georgia where she earned her degree in public relations. She brings professional experience from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Bloomingdale’s, the Atlanta Falcons, and The Coca-Cola Company and is now currently with Cox Communications as the Public Relation Manager. Avia joined Cox as a project manager in the LEAD program where she worked on User Experience related projects. Now with the Cox Communications Public Affairs department, she has been responsible for the company’s crisis communications, product public relations and community relations strategy.
In her spare time, Avia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending sporting events, exploring new restaurants in Atlanta and traveling to new countries.
