Becky Knecht is the Director of Ad Sales Marketing for Scripps Networks Interactive. In this role, she is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing initiatives for advertisers across Travel Channel and Great American Country.
She and her team are charged with the creation, management and execution of custom content and relevant sponsorships for leading brands advertising with the networks. Additionally, she manages the creation of the Travel Channel and Great American Country upfront campaign and assets, as well as trade and client-facing events. Over her almost ten years with the company, she has raised through the ranks within the same department – starting as a Coordinator.
Prior to her tenure at Scripps Networks Interactive, Knecht began her foray into ad sales marketing at Saga communications – as part of Springfield Rocks Radio Group in her home state of Massachusetts, where she focused on marketing strategies for local and national advertising clients.
Knecht has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and a Film minor from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, and lives in Hoboken, New Jersey.
