Bernadette Aulestia

Bernadette Aulestia is executive vice president,
Domestic Network Distribution, for Home Box Office, Inc.   She is responsible for overseeing distribution
and marketing efforts for Verizon, AT&T, DirecTV and DISH Network; HBO’s
critical Lodging business; HBO’s Affiliate Marketing group, which is
responsible for the acquisition and retention of subscribers across all
distributor partners; as well as HBO’s distribution efforts around the digital
subscription services HBO GO and Max GO. 
She was named to this position in July 2014.

Before being named executive vice president and
expanding her responsibilities to include the lodging business, Aulestia was senior
vice president Domestic Network Distribution.  Previously, she held the title of senior vice
president, Affiliate & Product Marketing, where she oversaw HBO and
Cinemax’s acquisition efforts and was responsible for the marketing of HBO’s
subscription video on demand services (HBO on Demand/ Cinemax on Demand),
multiplex channels and advanced products including high definition and
broadband.  She also oversaw the
marketing efforts for the Hispanic, African-American, Asian, and Gay and Lesbian
audiences.

Aulestia joined HBO in 1997.  Responsible for developing strategic
marketing plans to increase HBO’s presence in Hispanic markets, she
successfully designed and oversaw the execution of the network’s first national
Hispanic brand campaign and the creation of HBO Latino.


Prior to joining HBO, Aulestia
worked at Univision Communications, Inc., Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc.,
and Kidder, Peabody Inc.


Aulestia holds a BA in Economics
from Brown University.
