Beth Lankford is Senior Director of IT – Business Analysis & Testing at Charter Communications, where she leads a team of 250+ resources in the gathering of functional and non-functional requirements, development of process flows using BPM Notation, creation and execution of test cases and defect management for all IT related projects. Additionally, she collaborates with other internal stakeholders to support testing initiatives outside of IT, including Software and Advanced Engineering, and user acceptance testing (UAT) and defect management.
During her 6 year tenure in IT, Beth and team have supported major projects including but not limited to the complete overhaul of the Order Orchestration and Activation processes, a new Activation tool for field technicians, and new Call Center tools supporting Order Entry, Troubleshooting and Customer Management. She and her team remain key in supporting projects related to the recent merger between Charter, Time Warner, and Brighthouse Communications.
Prior to her roles in IT, Beth spent 8 years in Customer Operations supporting residential and commercial voice and HSD services at Charter. She has spanned many service areas in her 20+ year career in telecommunications, and has enjoyed almost all of them.
When she’s not at work, Beth enjoys many hobbies including camping with her family, and trips with her best friend. If she’s not travelling, you’ll find her curled up with a good book or working on something crafty.
