Beth Vertino is director of business operations for Turner Sports, managing the day-to-day operations of PGA.com. In this capacity, Vertino works closely with the PGA of America on all aspects of its expansive digital portfolio to lead product innovation and the overall growth of the business in an ever-changing digital media landscape. Vertino previous held a similar role overseeing the business operations of NACSAR.com.
Prior to shifting her career focus to business operations, Vertino spent more than 11 years in the sales division at Turner Broadcasting. Having worked in both the company’s Atlanta and New York offices, she held a variety of roles in both the sponsorship and marketing divisions. The responsibilities stretched across the entertainment and sports portfolios (TV and digital) including the development and execution of best-in-class sponsorship activations, strategic ad sales development, the launch of new digital businesses and the integration of new acquisitions into the organization.
Before joining Turner in 2000, Vertino spent several years working with clients on event and consumer marketing including organizations spanning college athletics to professional golf.
Vertino was graduated from Florida State University with a degree in marketing and international business. Most fall weekends, she can be found doing the chop alongside her husband and two young children.
