Betsy McDevitt

Betsy McDevitt is a telecommunications veteran with over 20 years of experience in business operations, technology management and project management.  In her current role as Senior Manager of Business Operations for Time Warner Cable’s Technology and Network Operations group, Betsy is responsible for business strategy, implementing efficient workflow processes, financial oversight and expense planning, and identifying and implementing expense reduction plans across the organization. Her efforts contributed to more than $45Millions in operational cost savings. 


Betsy joined Time Warner Cable in 2003 as a Senior Technical Project Manager. In less than three years, she was promoted to Manager of Program Management, a role in which was responsible for leading a Project Management Office (PMO) and a team of nine.  Her team was responsible for implementing critical business tools and high-speed data, voice and video products for the company.  In this role, Betsy was recognized for her leadership and was awarded Time Warner Cable’s Total Quality Service Award and The Mission and Values Performance Award.


Prior to joining Time Warner Cable, Betsy developed her project and program management expertise at renowned telecommunications companies like Aether Systems, Nextel Communications and Bell Atlantic Internet Solutions.


Betsy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from George Mason University and her Master of Science degree in Project Management from The George Washington University.  She is an active member of the Washington DC/Baltimore chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), Women in Technology (WIT) and the Project Management Institute (PMI). Betsy has served as a math mentor and core team member of the Time Warner Cable Connect a Millions Minds Program that inspires students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and for the past several years, has served as a corporate team captain for the Susan G. Komen annual National Race. 


Betsy lives in Falls Church, Virginia and enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
