Betty DeCicco currently serves as VP of Media Sales for Time Warner Cable Media’s NYC Interconnect. She has been in her current position 7 years. Betty leads a Senior Sales team in the #1 US Media Market of New York City, setting the strategy for both linear and digital sales. Her team partners with local, national and the large Madison Avenue Advertising Agencies to help all clients achieve business objectives. She aligns closely with client solutions, marketing, operations and finance to analyze market conditions. She works closely with product development to inform through the Advertising Agency lens on how to grow share, leveraging data, insights and analytics to help more profitably serve clients.
Betty has spent over 25 years in the advertising industry. She began her career on the Ad Agency working with clients ranging from small to large blue chip advertisers. Her drive and belief that advertising works lead her to the sales side after 18 years. She spent time selling radio at WFAN prior to joining Time Warner Media Sales as an account executive where her passion for advanced advertising (now omni-screen) was quickly indulged. By embracing new technology and using it to better inform her clients she was promoted to Advanced Advertising Manager for NYC, then, a year later, to General Manager. Still passionate about selling and technology Betty can often be found rolling up her sleeves and negotiating partnerships side by side with her staff.
A lifelong learner Betty recently graduated from NAMIC’s ELDP program held at Darden School of Business in Virginia.
A native New Yorker, she lives in Brooklyn with her husband and 2 sons. She splits her time in the summers at her beloved NJ Shore.
