Beverley DeCaires of Comcast Cable is part of the National Engineering &Technical Operations (NETO) Organization and holds the position of Director of CRAN Engineering. As a network engineer for the past 12 years, Beverley has been at the fore front of the service provider technologies with an emphasis in cutting edge network design and implementation. Her accomplishments include direct participation in Comcast’s first IP engineering and deployment infrastructure initiative, known as Jumpstart, as well as Comcast’s first converged network initiative for residential services.
Today, as Director of CRAN Engineering, Beverley leads an Engineering team that is responsible for the design, and build-out of Comcast’s Converged and Enterprise Network; a network that covers the entire North Eastern Region, from New England to Richmond, Virginia. Beverly also manages and directs the design and implementation of Comcast’s Next Generation Architecture, supporting both commercial and residential services.
A graduate of City University of New York, Beverley earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and went on to obtain a Post baccalaureate certificate in Internet Analysis and Design, from Columbia University. In 2010, she earned her Master’s Degree in Management of Information Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology. In 2011, she obtained a Master Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University.
Beverley became a member of the WICT organization in 2001 where, over the years, she has participated in many of its programs. In November of 2011, Beverly was appointed to the WICT board as Director of Technology.
