Blair Ligelis

Blair Ligelis has over eight years of media, marketing and brand strategy experience on both the corporate and agency side.  Blair is currently a Senior Manager in Distribution & Business Development at Viacom.  She joined Viacom four years ago and has held both Manager and Senior Manager positions.  Blair is currently responsible for the development and implementation of integrated, multiplatform marketing campaigns and partnerships across Viacom’s brands that are critical to securing distribution, driving revenues for both distributors and Viacom, increasing ratings and reinforcing brand value.  Blair is also responsible for running monthly Distribution & Business Development Seminars, which help educate the division about developments within Viacom from the latest strategy, research, products, partnerships and other projects.

Prior to Viacom, Blair worked at Interbrand as a Brand Strategy Consultant focusing on one of their largest clients, Thompson Reuters, as well as several other existing and prospective clients.  She was responsible for providing strategic advice on brand development, positioning and management, which included projects such as customer experience optimization, internal brand engagement, brand architecture, corporate citizenship and sponsorships.

Blair began her career as a Marketing Strategist at Ogilvy & Mather, focusing on CRM, loyalty and digital marketing with an emphasis on consumer insights, and worked with a number of Ogilvy’s leading clients including InterContinental Hotels Group, American Express and IBM.  She was part of the team that won a 2012 Effie Travel & Tourism Finalist Award for Priority Club Rewards (IHG) "Crack the Case."

Blair graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in Politics, Certificate in European Cultural Studies and was on the Princeton Women’s Varsity Squash Team, winning three national championships.  A New York City native, Blair attended the all-girls high school, The Chapin School, and currently resides in New York City.
