Brenda Bloemke

Brenda is a Comcast Senior Manager in Carrier Management located in Greenwood Village, CO. She serves as the single point of contact for supporting Comcast’s voice service product by managing the intercompany activities with other telephone service providers such as ILEC’s, ICO’s, CLEC’s and wireless carriers. Additionally, Brenda is the advocate for Comcast at industry forums at LNPA WG and ATIS NGIIF.

 

Brenda has over 30 years telecommunications experience. She joined Comcast in July of 2007. She develops and maintains positive relationships with other carriers. She provides operational subject matter expertise to Comcast legal and regulatory in support of voice services advocacy, negotiations and litigation efforts. She has also developed and implemented a new generation of performance metrics, driving improvements in carrier metrics.

 

Prior to joining Comcast Brenda worked at US West as a Complex Translations Manager and at TW Telecom as a Project Manager in the Network Operations Center.

 

Brenda is an active Volunteer and Committee Member at the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Society- Colorado Chapter since 1996; currently serving as a Rest Stop Committee Member (15 years) planning and implementing all activities associated with all Rest Stops with MS Society staff for annual bike tour fund raiser, currently the 3rd largest MS Fundraiser in the United States, raising approximately $3.4m per year. She also volunteers to assist the Colorado-Wyoming Chapter with increasing public awareness and personal understanding of MS and how the National MS Society supports people with MS. She represents the chapter at speaking engagements throughout the state at health fairs, community events and assisted living homes.

 

Brenda is also a volunteer and member of WICT since 2009.

 

Brenda enjoys spending her free time with her husband hiking and biking in addition to visiting her daughter and son in law. She also enjoys quilting, embroidering and crocheting.
