Brooke Bryant is the Manager of Music Services, Legal & Business Affairs at A+E Networks. In this role she works with A+E’s in-house Rights Management team, reviewing licenses and agreements related to network music rights across all company brands. In addition, she oversees the tracking, submission, and quality control of the 1,500 plus music cue sheets received annually for A+E’s ten networks. Brooke keeps each network compliant with all relevant music guild obligations. Since 2008 she has been instrumental in helping the Music Services team generate over twenty five million dollars of revenue from music royalties. Before the group was formed in 2008 revenue averaged less than one million dollars annually; the average since then is three and a half million per year.
Prior to joining A+E Networks, Brooke worked as a Broadcast Operations Media Coordinator at The Oxygen Network. In Broadcast Operations, she supervised Oxygen’s media library and supported various client groups’ priority-heavy, deadline-driven media asset requests. She also served as a liaison between the broadcast facility in Denver and the network’s headquarters in New York.
Brooke received her Bachelor’s degree from Marymount Manhattan College where she majored in Art with a concentration in photography, and minored in Art History. Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband, Sean and son, Bennett. She and her family reside in Brooklyn.
