Candice Brancazio is the VP, Brand Finance at Viacom where she directly supports the BET Networks and Music Group divisions.
During her fifteen year career at Viacom, Candice held various positions in accounting and finance. She spent about twelve years in the Controllership group, where she held roles in both domestic and international reporting and analysis. In her last Controllership function, Candice served as the Domestic Media Networks Controller where she was responsible for the financial integrity and accuracy of the various domestic business units, as well as controls and technical guidance. Additionally, Candice’s team included a shared service group that centralized transactional accounting functions, such as cash and capital asset management, for the domestic and Latin America business. During her time in the Controllership group, Candice worked on several accounting and finance transformation projects, including significant ERG system implementations as well as the design and execution of Viacom’s global shared service function.
Candice transitioned into Viacom finance almost three years ago, where she currently serves as the VP Finance for the BET Network and Music Group divisions. In her current role, Candice is the strategic finance partner for the two groups Presidents and their executive teams. Candice oversees the forecast process for these brand groups as well as provides financial support and insights to help drive business decisions and strategic initiatives.
Prior to Viacom, Candice spent several years at Ernst & Young as an auditor in their Media & Entertainment division. Candice is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
