Carmela Fournier is a Vice President of Data for Comcast Advertising. Previously, Carmela was an Executive Director in FreeWheel’s Data Platform Operations. In this role, she drove data-enablement across FreeWheel’s three core businesses and worked with partners across the ecosystem to advance industry measurement initiatives. Prior to this role, she served as the company’s resident expert on audience measurement, having formerly managed FreeWheel’s data and measurement partnerships.
Before joining FreeWheel, Carmela served in a variety of new product development roles in Global Media Products at Nielsen, where she most recently led the company’s North American audience measurement operations.
Regardless of the role she plays within the organization Carmela prides herself on the ability to build collaborative relationships that drive results. She has continued to demonstrate this brand as she has navigated through different roles throughout her career.
In her free time she gets her exercise chasing around her 2 year old daughter, Sophie, and practicing Pilates. A strong believer in mentorship both personally and professionally, Carmela volunteers as a mentor with iMentor, an organization that empowers students in low-income communities to graduate high school and pursue college.
Carmela holds a Bachelors of Science in Operations and Strategic management from Boston College and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College. She resides in the New York area with her family.
