Catherine Butler

Catherine Butler is Senior Finance Manager, ESPN International; a division of ESPN Inc. ESPN International includes a portfolio of 46 television networks across 202 countries in 16 languages outside of the United States. Butler has been with ESPN International Finance since 2006 and has had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles over her 5 years with ESPN. In her current role as Senior Finance Manager, Butler is responsible for the financial planning and analysis of ESPN International’s businesses in Europe, Middle East & Africa and Asia Pac, as well as International Enterprises, which includes digital, publishing and consumer products.

Prior to joining ESPN in 2006, Butler held positions at Alliance Bernstein, a division of Alliance Capital and in the Finance department of Pharmedica Communications, a small medical education company.

Butler is a member of the leadership of the Junior League of Hartford, Connecticut – a non-profit organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism and improving the community, as well as a member of WICT. She holds a B.A. degree in Economics from St. Michael’s College.   Butler resides in Connecticut with her husband, Brian and son, Peter.
