Catie McGrath is Senior Director, Digital Business Development, Emerging Monetization for A+E Networks. In this role, she oversees the company’s short-form content monetization efforts across a portfolio of platforms including Snapchat, Twitter, TikTok, and Xumo. Catie is also responsible for the strategic expansion of short-from content across new digital networks in the U.S. and internationally. During her 12 year tenure with the Global Content Sales group, she has held a variety of positions across Marketing, Digital, Ad Sales, Events and Business Development.
Prior to joining A+E Networks in 2008, Catie started her career at NBCUniversal working at Bravo Media in Programming & Scheduling; first as a college intern, then as the group’s Coordinator. Her primary responsibilities were managing the channel’s daily schedule and updating the long-term program planning rollout.
Catie earned a B.A. in Entertainment Business from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, taking classes at the University’s Stern School of Business and Tisch School of the Arts.
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Catie now calls New York City home. When not in the middle of a global pandemic, Catie enjoys exploring the city with her husband and two children. She is an adventurer who travels the world for both business and fun, amassing 16 passport stamps (and counting) from countries across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Some of her favorite trips have been to Cambodia, Belgium, and the Czech Republic.
