Catherine O’Bryant Freeman is Vice President of Marketing for Suddenlink’s Mid South Region. In this role, Catherine is responsible for customer acquisition, retention, brand awareness, management and integrity as well as sales channel optimization. Additionally, she is a member of the operational leadership team for the region and contributes to decisions in all functional areas.
In her previous role as Director of Marketing for Cox Communications, Catherine was responsible for the Region’s acquisition strategy and the development of creative and tactics to support it. Through this role, she grew to appreciate the importance of brand integrity and today spearheads efforts in her region to ensure that Suddenlink’s brand standards are adhered to in all aspects of customer communications.
Catherine joined Cox Communications in 2000 as Director of High Speed Internet and was responsible for launching the product to over 300,000 homes passed in a 6 state area.
It was Catherine’s role as Regional Marketing Manager at Knology that provided her with the invaluable experience of marketing in a competitive environment. Knology is a broadband communications provider that at the time competed with top 10 providers such as Comcast and the former ATT/TCI.
A graduate of Texas A&M University with a Journalism degree, Catherine began her career as a producer for a video production company.
