Cathy Savino is a Senior Manager of ESPN International Programming Services, a division of ESPN Inc. ESPN International includes a portfolio of 46 television networks across 202 countries in 16 languages outside the United States. Savino has worked in a variety of roles during her 20 year tenure with ESPN. She contributed to the launch of ESPN networks in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. As ESPN turned to digital technology, she managed the distribution of PowerVu decoders to Latin America and Asia. In her current role as Senior Manager of Programming Services, she manages acquisitions and oversees ESPN International’s motorsport and X Games properties, she administers all aspects of ESPN International’s on line Syndication Sales efforts and is the liaison between ESPN and American Forces network—providing sport programming to over 350,000 military personnel around the world.
Prior to joining ESPN in 1992, Savino held positions including; Vice President and Director of the Orlando Film Commission; Location and Production Manager for feature films and television commercials and Marketing Director at Digital Video Corporation.
Savino is the Secretary and member of the Board of Directors of the Bristol Adult Resource center, a non-profit organization which helps adults with disabilities maximize independence and inclusion in the community. She is also the Executive Director of the Bristol Tramps Sports Reunion, a non-profit organization that recognizes accomplishments of local individuals and their influence on sports in the City of Bristol.
