Celia Engman

​Celia Engman is a results oriented leader who has leveraged technology and people to transform processes, systems, products, services to drive business agility and corporate performance.  During her career, Celia has achieved business model changes, implemented large-scale software changes, scaled and enhanced rapidly growing products and services, and improved operational efficiency.  

 

Celia joined Comcast in 2013 as the Director of Billing Governance in the Systems Engineering organization.  She is responsible for software development requests, quality assurance, and release implementation supporting $40B annual revenue and customer experience transformation for video, high speed data, voice and home security services.   Her role includes vendor and program management.  Celia led a multi-year system integration effort for a 10.8M customer billing conversion. 

 

Prior to joining Comcast, she was employed by Verizon Communications for over 28 years with assignments of increasing responsibility in Information Systems, Network Operations, Technology and Product Management.  She implemented initiatives to evolve and expand FiOS video services and data/voice bundles achieving JD Powers recognition.   Celia also planned and implemented a $370M system strategy to divest data services into a separate subsidiary.  This program gated the $52B merger of GTE and Bell Atlantic as well as entry into New York long distance market.  During this effort, Celia led a team of 250.

 

Celia lives in Havertown, PA and has two millennial aged daughters.  Activities she enjoys in her free time include cooking, gardening, yoga, long walks, college basketball, travel, and the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles!  She volunteers for her church, Comcast Women’s Network and WICT Greater Philadelphia.
