Chelsea Markus is an Associate Director of Program Research for A+E Networks’ portfolio of brands. In this role, Chelsea transforms audience data into actionable insights for a variety of business needs. Tactically, this includes trending & benchmarking, monitoring competition and forecasting future viewing intent. Chelsea is also responsible for providing corporate level research for C-suite executives and board members. She is the lead on A+E Networks’ custom quantitative studies for the programming team and spearheads initiatives to develop proprietary data tools as well as create company-wide informational presentations. Additionally, Chelsea oversees the onboarding and development of A+E Networks’ analysts and is responsible for the Program Research intern program.
Prior to this role, Chelsea was the interim network lead for A&E Program Research. As the point person for A&E Research, Chelsea used data analysis to steer the network towards growth by informing programming and business strategies and forecasting network performance.
Chelsea earned a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University where she majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She currently resides in New York City.
