Cheryl King, Writer/Producer – On/Off Air Creative, has served in numerous roles in her 8 years with CMT including positions in graphics and promos. In her current role, she is focused on the conception, development and execution of original promotional content for CMT. This includes new series launch campaigns, weekly episodic promos, stunt week campaigns, Consumer and Integrated Marketing brand/client integration promos and CMT brand presentations. She collaborates with Creative Directors to conceive original content that reflects the CMT brand and develops comprehensive promotional campaigns to drive tune-in and awareness for CMT programming. She also directs video shoots for launch campaigns and brand initiatives.
Cheryl holds a B.S. in Mass Communication with concentrations in Electronic Media Production, Speech and Theater from Middle Tennessee State University.
Outside of her career, Cheryl has a passion for dance and music, and has been performing tribal, hip hop & modern fusion belly dance since 2006. She also enjoys annual mission trips to Honduras with her family.
